Cree artist • horror-inspired beadwork • boujie auntie energy
Bold colour. Big fringe. No apologies.
For the bold, the loud, and the legendary.“Boo” is more than a name — it’s a memory. My dad used to call me Boo when I was little. He passed when I was five, and this work is one of the ways I carry that love forward with me. Every piece I create is stitched with remembrance, connection, and heart.“Boo” is also a nod to my lifelong love of horror — the eerie, the dramatic, the beautifully dark. Many of my pieces are inspired by horror aesthetics and bold imagery rather than traditional cultural motifs.I am a Cree artist, and my beadwork is about expression, not expectation. This is boujie auntie energy in bead form.
Big, bold statement pieces.
Lots of fringe.
Lots of colour.
Nothing subtle.
Nothing apologetic. These pieces are meant to be seen, to move when you move, and to help you take up space — loudly and proudly.Alongside my statement work, some pieces are created in honour of MMIWG, Orange Shirt Day, and the LGBTQ2S+ community. These designs are made with care, respect, and intention.Boo-Jee Auntie’s Beaded Cree-Ations is where love, memory, bold self-expression, and a little spooky magic come together.Thank you for being here.
